The 2,500TEU container ship, CMA CGM Neva is under quarantine in Hamburg as five crew members, including the captain and chief officer, tested positive for Covid-19, according to Maritime Bulletin.
The ship arrived at the Port of Hamburg on 15 June, is berthed at Berth 5 of Eurogate Terminal and, according to the reports, cannot be shifted to another berth or anchorage if there is not either crew replacement or the end of the quarantine period.
The 2018-built CMA CGM Neva is deployed on a feeder service, which is connecting Saint Petersburg in Russia with Germany’s Hamburg and Wilhemshaven.
