Maersk Line has announced it will stop all its calls to the Port of Chornomorks in Ukraine from the 33rd week of the year.

However, the Danish shipping carrier has confirmed it will continue to transport cargo to Ukraine via the Port of Pivdennyi, docking in DP World TIS Container Terminal.

The last call of the company to the Port of Chornomorsk will be on 10 August from the 2,470TEU, 2004-built container vessel, Julius-S, voyage 131N.

Maersk said that this change in its ocean services in Ukraine is “a part of its network optimisation exercise.”
