The Port of Yokohama handled 225,523 TEUs in total in February, representing an 8.9% decrease from the same month in 2022.
In particular, exports and imports of the Japanese port accounted for 199,510 TEUs overall, falling by 9.4% year-on-year. In breakdown, there were declines in both sectors. Exports declined by 1.4% to 113,267 TEUs and imports dropped by 18.1% to 86,243 TEUs.
Meanwhile, domestic containers totalled 26,013 TEUs, down 5.2%.
